Religious Education
At Kingsway Primary School, Religious Education (RE) helps children develop an understanding of different religions and worldviews, encouraging respect, curiosity, and thoughtful reflection. RE is taught from Foundation Stage to Year Six and follows the NATRE Primary RE Curriculum resources, ensuring a high-quality and well-structured approach.
Through RE, pupils learn about a range of religions and beliefs, exploring key concepts, practices, and values. Children are encouraged to ask questions, make connections, and reflect on their own beliefs and experiences, helping them to understand both similarities and differences in the world around them.
RE supports our Kingsway KIT values by promoting respect, empathy, and open-mindedness. By learning about diverse beliefs and cultures, children develop the understanding and tolerance needed to live positively in a diverse society and to make a meaningful contribution to the world.
