Science
At Kingsway Primary School, Science inspires curiosity about the world and encourages children to ask questions, explore, and investigate. Science is taught from Foundation Stage to Year Six and helps pupils develop a deeper understanding of the world through practical, hands-on learning.
Through investigations and experiments, children learn key scientific knowledge and skills, including observing, predicting, testing, and recording results. Lessons encourage critical thinking and help pupils understand how science plays an important role in everyday life and the wider world.
Science supports our Kingsway KIT values by promoting curiosity, resilience, teamwork, and independence. By developing scientific understanding and enquiry skills, we aim to equip children with the confidence and knowledge they need to explore the world around them and make a positive difference in the future.
