EYFS New Starters
A huge welcome to the new EYFS starters 2025-2026
We are so pleased to hear that you have chosen our school and that your child will be joining us from September this year. We know that this is a very exciting time for children and parents alike and we very much look forward to meeting you all.

Next year the class teacher will be Mrs Spencer and the teaching assistant will be Miss Parnell. Mrs Spencer and Miss Parnell are very experienced in EYFS and are skilled in ensuring an excellent transition into school.
This year’s transition model will consist of:
- Over the next few weeks, EYFS Parent’s Information will be posted on the school website, which will give you information about the EYFS curriculum and key information regarding school uniform and the running of the school day. Your child's class dojo page will also be set up, with regular posts regarding key dates, information and giving you direct messaging facilities to your child's class teacher.
- On Monday 9th June and Tuesday 10th June, we will be inviting parents/carers and child/children into school for a face-to-face meeting with the class teacher. Meetings will be ten minutes long and will give parents and children an opportunity to meet the staff and for the children to tell us about themselves. You will be able to book onto your preferred time via a Microsoft Form link which will be posted closer to the time.
- On Thursday 26th June we will be holding our stay and play session. The session will run 9:15am-10:15am in the Foundation Unit, please come to the main reception on arrival.
- On Tuesday 1st July we will be holding our EYFS, half day transition. This session will run from 9:15am-11:15am. For this day, please can you come to the main entrance. We will then walk across to the Foundation Unit where you will say goodbye to your child for the morning before returning to the main reception to be let in for collection.
To assist with your child transitioning into our school, this section of the website will contain lots of tools that you can share with your child, to allow them to become more familiar with our teachers and our school.
